Dr Zhang graduated from the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine in 1996. She was being a good performance as a clinical physician in Xiyuan Hospital, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences after graduation. She obtained her master degree of Clinical Medicine of Integrated Traditional and Western Medicine of Cardiovascular Diseases at the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences in 2003. And PhD at the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine and Hong Kong Baptist University in 2006

Dr Zhang has been engaged in clinical practice over 10 years. She excels in clinical research for application of Chinese Medicine, as well as the Integration of Chinese and Western Medicine in prevention and treatment of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, such as coronary heart disease, hypertension, arrhythmia, heart failure, cerebral infarction, and diabetes, gastrointestinal diseases. She is also specialized in the use of Chinese medicine and acupuncture for the treatment of many common diseases, including Bell palsy, pain diseases, insomnia, depression, dysmenorrhea and stroke.

She has issued over 20 academic papers and participated in 5 research projects at the state level and won 3 awards from the China Association for Integration of Chinese-Western Medicine .
