SCM provides academic and clinical teaching for Chinese medicine students from Korea

SCM received a delegation comprising two professors and 10 students from the College of Korean Medicine, Kyung Hee University, Korea from 15 to 27 February.  During the visit, they attended tailor-made classes and observed clinical practice at the Chinese medicine clinics of the School to learn more about different aspects of Chinese medicine, including diagnosis, medicinal formulae, internal medicine and clinical training in different Chinese medicine specialties, clinical study and drug discovery in Hong Kong.  They were also given a tour of the teaching and research facilities at the SCM Building, Lui Seng Chun, housed in a Grade I historic building, and Ko Shing Street in Sheung Wan, which is the heart of wholesale herbal medicine trade in the city, to enable them to have a better understanding of the development of Chinese medicine in Hong Kong.
