Professor Liu Liang, Dean of Chinese Medicine, awarded Honorary Fellowship by Canadian Chartered Institute of Business Administration

Professor Liu Liang, Dean of the School of Chinese Medicine, was recently granted an Honorary Fellowship by the Canadian Chartered Institute of Business Administration (CCIBA) in recognition of his contribution to the normalisation, standardisation and internationalisation of Chinese medicine.

Delighted at receiving the award, Professor Liu expressed his desire to contribute to the promotion of professional management and upgrading the level of business administration.

Incorporated by Letters Patent from the Government of Canada, CCIBA is the only chartered institute of business administration in Canada. Honorary Fellowship status is bestowed on those who have made major creative contributions to the advancement of knowledge through research or who hold a position of eminence in the practice of management or business administration.

Professor Liu is one of the two awardees from the academic profession on whom the honorary award was bestowed. The other awardee is Professor Lui Sun-wing, Vice President of Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
