The School to help freshmen adapt to university life and study

8 June 2010

The School has recently set up a New Student Advisory Group to implement a series of initiatives with an aim to help the freshmen in the coming academic year to adapt to the university life and study and to have a better understanding of the two undergraduate programmes as well as the development and prospect of the School.

Comprised of academic staff in Chinese Medicine, Pharmacy in Chinese Medicine and Biomedical Science, the Advisory Group will form Chinese medicine interest groups and organise a series of activities such as seminars in Chinese medicine, field trips to learn about the Chinese medicinal plants and visits to pharmacies and Chinese medicine hospitals. Through these activities, it is hoped that the first-year experience of undergraduate students will be enhanced and their adjustment to the School life will be sped up.
