Expert in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Pharmacology of Chinese Medicine, Visceral Pain and Development of Herbal Medicines Product

Prof Bian had been educated in Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Pharmacology and Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and was conferred the Ph.D. in TCM in 1994. After graduation, he engaged in clinical practice and research in Internal Medicine. His research focuses mainly in the experimental and clinical treatment of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), inflammatory bowel disease, Crohn's disease, and clinical standardization of Chinese herbs. He also excels in treating functional gastroenteritis, ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, side-effects of gastric and intestinal cancer after radiotherapy, chemotherapy and operation; chronic constipation, gastroesophageal reflux disease, intractable headache, and aplastic anemia.
