Philip K.H. Wong Foundation donates HK$10 million to establish endowed professorship in geriatric Chinese medicine

8 February 2024

The School of Chinese Medicine is deeply grateful for the generous HK$10 million donation from the Philip K.H. Wong Foundation to establish the Philip K.H. Wong Foundation Endowed Professorship in Chinese Medicine (Geriatric Medicine). With aging populations globally and growing geriatric diseases, the Foundation's visionary support of institutionalising and standardising Chinese medicine comes at an ideal time. This professorship will be instrumental in advancing knowledge and research in geriatric medicine, fostering the development of Chinese medicine treatments and prevention for age-related diseases.
