Dr. Li Lifeng Cherry receives the 2024 Dr. Willmar Schwabe Young Talent Prize

This July, Dr. Li Lifeng Cherry, Research Assistant Professor from the Teaching and Research Division, was awarded the 2024 Dr. Willmar Schwabe Young Talent Prize at the International Congress on Natural Products Research held in Krakow, Poland. The award was presented by the Society for Medicinal Plant and Natural Product Research, in recognition of her outstanding contributions to the field of natural polysaccharide research.

The Congress brought together researchers from 65 countries around the world. The prize is presented annually to motivate young talents to address phytochemical and phytopharmacological questions, especially those with potential clinical implications, thereby advancing the understanding of the therapeutic potential of natural products.

Congratulations to Dr. Li on her achievement. The School is committed to nurturing young researchers and encourages them to participate in international conferences to broaden their horizons.
