On 13 June, the School held its annual Retreat, bringing together over 80 staff members to engage in strategic discussions across four key areas: undergraduate education, continuing and professional education, research and innovation, and clinical services.

The School specially invited Professor Martin Wong, Provost, to share valuable insights and Dr. Mu Jingwen, Director of Office of Institutional Research and Planning (OIRP) to present strategies for enhancing QS rankings. Additionally, Professor Bian Zhaoxiang, Hospital Chief Executive of The Chinese Medicine Hospital of Hong Kong (CMHHK) and Dr. Cheung Chun-hoi, Deputy Hospital Chief Executive (Chinese Medicine) of CMHHK provided updates on the hospital’s latest developments, as well as opportunities for clinical training and collaborative research. The Retreat this year featured a heartwarming ceremony to honour and celebrate the contributions of retiring colleagues. The event concluded a sense of unity and consensus, laying a solid foundation for the School’s development in the coming year.
