Founders of Musketeers Education and Culture Charitable Foundation visit SCM

Founders of The Musketeers Education and Culture Charitable Foundation Limited (the Foundation), Mr. Stanley Chu, Dr. the Hon Lawrence Fung, and Mr. Leong Ka Chai visited the School of Chinese Medicine on 22 August. Professor Alex Wai, President and Vice-Chancellor of HKBU, and Professor Li Min, Dean of Chinese Medicine warmly received the distinguished guests and accompanied them on a tour of the School’s advanced research facilities. The SCM research teams presented the School’s cutting-edge strategies and notable achievements in the prevention and treatment of age-related diseases, impressing the visitors with their outstanding work.

A luncheon was subsequently hosted by Dr. the Hon Kennedy Wong, Chairman of the Council and the Court of HKBU, and Professor Wai, facilitating dynamic exchanges on the University’s future development strategies and fostering potential collaborations.

Professor Li extended her appreciation to the Foundation for its longstanding contributions to public welfare, particularly in the promotion of education and cultural initiatives. She expressed the School’s enthusiasm for future collaboration with the Foundation, with the shared goal of advancing the development of Chinese medicine to benefit society as a whole.
