On 5 June, the School held its annual Retreat, bringing around 100 faculty members and invited guests together to exchange ideas on key topics, including teaching and learning, research, and clinical services, and to co-create the School’s development blueprint.
This year, the School was honoured to have Professor Martin Wong, Provost; Professor Lyu Aiping, Vice-President (Research and Development); and Dr. Albert Chau, Vice-President (Teaching and Learning), join us to offer guidance and valuable insights on strategic planning. In addition, Dr. Cheung Chun Hoi, Deputy Hospital Chief Executive (Chinese Medicine), and Dr. Lau Chun Wing, Deputy Hospital Chief Executive (Western Medicine), of The Chinese Medicine Hospital of Hong Kong engaged in in-depth discussions with members of the Clinical Division to explore future avenues for collaboration.
The Retreat also featured an appreciation ceremony for retiring colleagues, set in a warm atmosphere that highlighted the School’s unity and dedication to its heritage. The event not only fostered a shared vision across the School but also laid a solid foundation for the next chapter of our development.
