17 March 2016

Dr. Dennis Au Cheuk-wing, an alumnus of the BCM programme (2005), received the third HKBU Distinguished Alumni Award on 17 March in recognition of his remarkable contribution.  He established the Conduct Chinese Medicine Clinic, which integrates traditional Chinese medicine with contemporary management concepts; and he has worked with various non-profit organisations to provide Chinese medicine services, including using Chinese medicine to help young substance abusers get rid of their habits.  He also participated in the establishment of HHK Chinese Medicine Centre in Sham Shui Po, the first Chinese medicine centre which provides free medical services and medications for the needy in Hong Kong, and founded Chinese Medicine For All, a charitable organisation which organises visits by volunteering young Chinese medicine practitioners to serve people in countries with poor medical resources, such as the Philippines, the Thailand-Burma border and Cambodia, and promotes Chinese medicine overseas.
