HKBU Chinese Medicine Society hosts the 11th Chinese Medicine Festival

4 August 2010

Those who are leading hectic lives and under heavy work pressure always complain of stomach trouble, insomnia, headaches and neck pain. The 11th Chinese Medicine Festival, which introduces how Chinese medicine help cure such common illnesses, has attracted a large number of visitors.

Held on 27-28 July at Kowloon City Plaza, the Festival comprises health-themed activities including seminars on Chinese medicine, free medical consultation, Tai Chi and Qi Gong performances.

The Festival is an annual event organised by the Chinese medicine students of our School and sponsored by Eu Yan Sang (Hong Kong) Limited. It is hoped that through staging the event, students will be able to put into practice what they have learned on the one hand and to contribute to the society by promoting Chinese medicine on the other hand.
