SCM introduces methods for health preservation at InnoCarnival 2021

1 November 2021

SCM teamed up with the Knowledge Transfer Office and Faculty of Social Sciences to stage an exhibition titled "Embracing Health via HKBU Chinese Medicine & Social Sciences Research Impact" at InnoCarnival 2021 from 23 to 31 October.  In addition to introducing the visitors to Chinese medicine dietary therapy through a colourful display of Chinese herbal ingredients from a variety of soup and drink recipes accessible via QR codes at the exhibition booth, SCM staff distributed free samples of HKBU Wellness products such as herbal tea bags and herbal sachets to the visitors.  Two brand new educational computer games were also set up at the booth to promote the benefits of pracitising mind-body exercise Taichi and Wuqinxi in everyday life.  With the support of the Innovation and Technology Fund, SCM is a regular exhibitor at Innocarnival, a family-friendly event organised annually by the Innovation and Technology Commission.
