Research Excellence: Four SCM projects secure NSFC 2025 grants

22 September 2025

The National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) has announced its 2025 funding results, awarding grants to four projects from the School of Chinese Medicine.  These projects cover advanced fields including immunology, microbiology, oncology, bone metabolism and neurogastroenterology.

This achievement reflects the outstanding academic calibre and innovative potential of SCM’s early career researchers, especially given the highly competitive nature of the NSFC grants. The School remains committed to fostering a dynamic research environment, empowering our teams to deliver impactful discoveries and further strengthening SCM’s reputation among Chinese medicine institutions in the Greater Bay Area.
